Job Overview

NWE is seeking talented, disciplined, athletic, and charismatic Professional Wrestlers to join our growing roster.

The ideal candidate should combine wrestling ability, physical fitness, showmanship, professionalism, and the ability to connect with live and digital audiences. Wrestlers will participate in NWE matches, live events, promotional activities, media appearances, rehearsals, training sessions, and other NWE productions.

Both established professional wrestlers and promising talents with appropriate training and potential may be considered.

Key Responsibilities & Obligations

Successful candidates will be expected to:

Perform in professional wrestling matches and NWE live events.
Execute wrestling moves, sequences, and match performances safely and professionally.
Maintain excellent physical fitness and conditioning.
Attend scheduled training sessions, rehearsals, briefings, and production meetings.
Work collaboratively with opponents, referees, coaches, producers, and other members of the NWE team.
Develop and portray assigned wrestling characters, personalities, storylines, and personas where required.
Deliver promos, interviews, entrances, and other performance elements confidently.
Follow match plans, production directions, event schedules, and instructions from authorised NWE personnel.
Maintain professionalism both inside and outside the ring when representing NWE.
Participate in promotional photography, video shoots, interviews, press activities, fan engagements, and social media content when required.
Protect the safety and wellbeing of fellow performers during matches and training.
Properly use and care for wrestling equipment, costumes, props, and facilities.
Maintain confidentiality regarding unreleased storylines, match plans, business information, and other confidential NWE matters.
Comply with NWE's code of conduct, safety procedures, performance standards, and talent policies.
Be available to travel for events, appearances, training, and other NWE assignments where required.

Requirements

Applicants should preferably have:

Professional wrestling training from a recognised or reputable wrestling school, academy, trainer, or promotion.
Previous wrestling, combat sports, athletics, gymnastics, stunt performance, or related experience.
Strong physical fitness, strength, stamina, flexibility, coordination, and agility.
Knowledge of professional wrestling fundamentals and in-ring safety.
Ability to perform safely in a physically demanding environment.

Job Overview

NWE is seeking disciplined, physically fit, observant, and professional Wrestling Referees to officiate matches across NWE events and productions.

The referee plays a critical role in maintaining match safety, rules, timing, communication, and presentation. Beyond enforcing match rules, the referee must work closely with wrestlers and production personnel to ensure matches are delivered safely, professionally, and effectively for both live and broadcast audiences.

Key Responsibilities & Obligations

The successful candidate will:

Officiate professional wrestling matches according to NWE rules and match formats.
Conduct pinfall counts, submission checks, count-outs, disqualifications, and other match decisions.
Clearly communicate official match decisions.
Monitor wrestlers throughout matches for signs of injury, distress, or unsafe situations.
Maintain constant awareness of the action inside and outside the ring.
Communicate discreetly with wrestlers and production personnel when necessary.
Help manage match timing and communicate relevant cues.
Maintain appropriate positioning without unnecessarily obstructing wrestlers, cameras, or audience views.

Physical & Safety Expectations

Professional wrestling refereeing is physically demanding.

Referees may be required to kneel, run, move rapidly around the ring, maintain low positions, avoid fast-moving performers, and remain physically active throughout matches and events.

Candidates should therefore maintain an appropriate level of physical fitness and comply with applicable NWE health, safety, and medical-clearance requirements.

A referee must also be capable of recognising when a performer may genuinely require medical assistance and immediately follow NWE's established safety and emergency procedures.
